Gilda Horn is known for her warm, true-to-life portraits in oil and her colorful landscape work.
Gilda’s greatest artistic influences are John Singer Sargent and Pablo Picasso. Though very different in style, both artists captured what is unique about each of us. Gilda’s goal is to find and translate that same unique quality in each subject she paints.
Gilda received her B.S. in Art from Miami University. She teaches drawing and painting to children and adults in her Essex Studio on McMillan Street near downtown Cincinnati. Her paintings can be found at Nest in Oakley, at Details in Newtown and at Essex Studio.
